A Prayer, and some private thoughts
Today, I pray for Mr. Zelenskyy. He is a braver man than I.
I want to pray for Mr. Zelenskyy. War is hell, and probably ten thousand1 Ukrainian civilians are dead already. Because Putin has gone mad.
I was too worried about someone in Washington going mad to even consider that possibility until Putin actually did it.
Now, Mr. Zelenskyy is traveling to the border to negotiate terms with the Russians. It is very possible he dies through an accident2 of war. It is also very possible that a perfidious ambassador murders him in cold blood.
So today, I pray for Mr. Zelenskyy. He is a braver man than I.
